These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “GTC”) govern the rights and obligations of Biokarma Kft. (hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider”) and the user or customer (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”) using the electronic commerce services available on the akkufresh.com website. The Service Provider and the Customer are hereinafter jointly referred to as the “Parties.”

The GTC applies to all transactions and services conducted via the akkufresh.com website, regardless of whether the Customer accesses the website from Hungary or from abroad.

2. Scope and Legal Background

These GTC apply to all electronic commerce services provided through the akkufresh.com web store. Purchases are governed by:

  • Act CVIII of 2001 on Electronic Commerce Services

  • Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code

  • Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.)

  • Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights


3. Contract Formation

3.1 Placing Orders

Orders may be placed electronically via the akkufresh.com website in accordance with these GTC.

3.2 Registration

Most services are available without registration; however, certain features require user registration and login. By registering, the Customer confirms acceptance of these GTC and the Privacy Policy.

3.3 Order Modification or Cancellation

Orders may be modified or canceled without consequence until fulfillment by contacting customer service via email or telephone.

3.4 Language of the Contract

The language of the contract is Hungarian.

3.5 Code of Conduct

The Service Provider is not bound by any code of conduct.


4. Registration and User Responsibility

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information during registration and ordering.

The Service Provider shall not be liable for:

  • Delivery delays caused by incorrect data

  • Damages resulting from forgotten or compromised passwords

  • Errors caused by changes made by the Customer to their account data


5. Products and Pricing

5.1 Product Information

Product descriptions, characteristics, and usage instructions are available on individual product pages. Product images are illustrative only.

5.2 Prices

Prices shown include VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery costs are shown separately during checkout.

5.3 Price Changes

The Service Provider reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect confirmed orders.

5.4 Incorrect Pricing

If an obvious pricing error occurs, the Service Provider is not obliged to fulfill the order at the incorrect price and may offer fulfillment at the correct price instead.


6. Order Process and Confirmation

6.1 Order Submission

An order becomes binding upon clicking the “Finalize Order” button, which creates a payment obligation.

6.2 Order Confirmation

An automatic confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours, confirming receipt of the order. This does not constitute acceptance of the order.

6.3 Acceptance of Order

The contract is concluded only when the Service Provider explicitly accepts the order.


7. Delivery and Payment

7.1 Delivery

Products are delivered via courier services to the address provided by the Customer.

7.2 Delivery Time

Delivery times are indicative only and cannot be guaranteed to a specific hour.

7.3 Payment Methods

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.


8. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers Only)

Consumers are entitled to withdraw from the contract within 30 days of purchase without providing a reason.

Key Conditions:

  • Withdrawal must be declared in writing (email or post)

  • Products must be returned within 14 days

  • Return costs are borne by the Consumer

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days after receipt of returned goods

  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method


9. Warranty and Guarantee

9.1 Mandatory Warranty

The Service Provider provides statutory warranties in accordance with Hungarian law and Government Decree 151/2003.

9.2 Voluntary Guarantee

Some products may include extended guarantees, as specified on the product page or warranty card.

9.3 Exclusions

Warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, improper storage, or unauthorized modifications.


10. Liability

The Service Provider shall not be liable for:

  • Inaccuracies on the Website

  • Damages resulting from improper use

  • User-generated content

  • External website links

Liability is limited except in cases of intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury.


11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website is protected by copyright. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without written consent is prohibited.


12. Complaints and Legal Remedies

12.1 Complaint Handling

Complaints may be submitted via:

12.2 Dispute Resolution

Consumers may initiate:

  • Consumer protection authority proceedings

  • Conciliation board proceedings

  • Court proceedings under Hungarian law


13. Final Provisions

13.1 Website Security

The Website uses modern security technologies; however, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

13.2 Household Quantities

Orders are accepted for household quantities only.

13.3 Modification of GTC

The Service Provider may modify these GTC at any time. Registered users will be notified and must accept changes upon login.


14. Feedback

All feedback submitted is considered non-confidential and may be used without restriction.
